Red Sea FC defeated Borchar FC 1-0 in the second game of the under 23 Uror County tournament played at Kakuma 3 new area field in Kakuma refugee camp on Monday.

The Group A match kicked off at 5:30 pm, with both teams creating equal chances, but none of them found the back of the net by half time.

After the interval, it was Red Sea FC that dominated possession and their right winger, Gatluak broke the deadlock in mid-second half.

Red Sea FC tops the group with six points, while Borchar has one point.

Established in 1991, Kenya’s Kakuma refugee camp is home to approximately 165,000 refugees and asylum seekers of more than 18 different nationalities.

The camp accommodates thousands of South Sudanese refugees.
