Justice minister keen to cooperate with South Sudan

On Friday the Sudanese ministry of justice proposed a draft legal agreement to South Sudan to exchange convicts and legalise border trade between the two countries. The meeting was attended by the head of justice minister Muhammed Bushara Dousa, Sudanese security Muhammed Atta and senior legal officials from South Sudan. The South Sudanese delegation welcomed the draft and requested time to study it and add amendments. Dousa expressed keenness to assist the South with the process of drafting laws to reach ‘mutually beneficial arrangements’.
