The Jubek state basketball tournament has begun in the South Sudan capital of Juba, with a thrilling match between the Muniki and Citizen teams.

The tournament launched under the auspices of the Jubek State Basketball Association, began at Juba’s Nimra Talata stadium on Wednesday.

At the final whistle of a thrilling opening match, the Citizen team lost to Munuki 70-48.
