The director of police in South Sudan’s proposed Jubek state Khamis Shawul has called on the citizens to cooperate with the police to fight crime in the country.

The director of police in South Sudan’s proposed Jubek state Khamis Shawul has called on the citizens to cooperate with the police to fight crime in the country.

Speaking to South Sudan Television (SSTV) on the occasion of Eid Al fitr, Shawul stressed the importance of stopping crime before it occurs.

“I want all the citizens to cooperate with us by providing us all information concerning security threats. We also called on the police and other organized forces to stay alert and do their duties to prevent crimes,” said Shawul.  

He said this requires the citizens to take precautions including by securing their properties.
