Juba Football Association assembly withdraws confidence from top officials

Members of the General Assembly of the Juba Football Association (JFA) on Saturday withdrew confidence from the JFA administration and appointed a new steering committee for the management of the association for a period of two months until the holding of elections next April.

Members of the General Assembly of the Juba Football Association (JFA) on Saturday withdrew confidence from the JFA administration and appointed a new steering committee for the management of the association for a period of two months until the holding of elections next April.

Clubs of Division One, two, and Three of JFA were invited to attend the extraordinary meeting where the vote was taken, withdraw their support from Sebit Lumori and members of his administration as a result of administrative problems.

The Steering Committee will do review and accounting with Sebit Lumori, who took over the presidency of JFA since 2014.

The Steering Committee President is Oliver Augustino, with Freddy Bullen as vice president, and Lege Tombe as secretary-general in addition to nine other members.

The General Assembly was attended by 46 of the 62 clubs.
