A bar fight leaves a man without a nose, a murder in Mauna, and a traffic accident in Gumbo leaves a five year old dead.
Bar fight leaves man without nose
A 21-year old man is claiming SSP 5,000 in damages after his nose was partially ripped off during a fight in the Mama Benson bar.
Benson Abraham says that his nose was cut off in the bar’s parking lot on November 15, 2014 at Mama Pub. Doctors spent three hours mending his nose, he said.
He claims was a handgun smashed him in the face in the bar, and was forcefully dragged outside to the parking lot where he was again assaulted, including by an employee.
Earlier that day an armed robbery occurred in the Gumbo area, and Abraham was identified as a suspect according to the bar’s manager. At the bar, he and his party were asked to leave but refused. The manager of the Mama Pub said that Benson injured himself when they forced him to leave the bar.
Benson’s lawyer, George Emmanuel said they would ask presiding Judge President Anthony Angelo to allocate a special date for the trial. Abraham is claiming the additional damages in the Juba High court saying that he has endured severe pain and suffering because of the fight.

According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Digilo Lucia and Ajaru Tito. The motive appears to be personal dispute, but robbery has not been ruled out.
The incident was discovered around 7 am when a neighbor saw the blood stained body of Tito lying on a terrace, police said. While Tito was found with the throat slit and injured marks on his head, police said that Lucia was found in her room lying on the floor covered with blood.
