Juba City Council to begin punishing traffic law violators today

The Juba City Council has decided to start punishing drivers who violate traffic laws in South Sudan's capital city.

Mayor Christopher Sarafino Wani said drivers who violate traffic lights will be fined 5,000 SSP, while pedestrians will pay 500 SSP.

Wani said the order will go into effect today Thursday.
