Juba accuses Khartoum of bombing Bentiu in South Sudan

Five people were killed and six wounded in bombing raids carried out by the Sudanese army in Unity state, in South Sudan on Saturday.

A local authority spokesman said Sudanese army fighter jets bombed the main city in the state, Bentiu.

He said bombs fell on Rubcona bridge, destroying the road between Bentiu and the Sudanese border.

Khartoum denied it carried out strikes in Bentiu.
