The wrestlers of Jonglei are leading the national Wrestling for Peace Tournament in Juba, while Imatong has dropped out after losing two straight matches.
Jonglei defeated Eastern Lakes in a close match yesterday afternoon, following up their win over Terekeka in the opening match on Saturday.
Terekeka defeated Imatong fourteen wins to one draw yesterday morning. Imatong lost all fifteen bouts against Eastern Lakes on Tuesday afternoon.
Eastern Lakes faces Terekeka Thursday afternoon. The championship on Friday which will feature Jonglei versus one of the two remaining teams.
Dance groups from twelve tribes from around South Sudan will also participate in the Friday championship match.
