JMEC publishes S Sudan peace deal in Arabic, Shilluk, Nuer, Dinka

The Joint Monitoring and Evalutaion Commission which is overseeing implementation of South Sudan’s peace deal has published the agreement in different South Sudanese languages.

The peace deal is now available to read in Arabic, Shilluk, Nuer, and Dinka. You can download your own copy of the agreement in any of these languages here, or find an English version for download here.

Salva Kiir and Riek Machar signed the peace deal in August. The deal was backed by regional bloc IGAD plus other nations and organizations including the African Union, United States, and China.
