The management of Ivory Bank in Wau town is calling on its customers who took loans to repay as soon as possible or face consequences.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Sunday, Wau Branch Manager Yak Deng Kuat said the bank has been lenient on its customers due to the war, but it can no longer cover its operations cost.
Deng said most customers who borrowed money from 2009 to 2013, have not been able to repay.
"These processes were supposed to start a long time ago, but due to the war in Wau, the bank could not ask customers to pay the debt," he said.
Deng added that legal action will be taken against all defaulters.
