A large number of SPLA soldiers have deployed from other places to Tore Payam in Yei River County over the last week, according to a resident there.
The source accused the soldiers of beating civilians, looting and threatening Tore residents. On Thursday the soldiers also moved into villages surrounding Tore town, he said.
Many citizens have fled into the bush, according to the resident.
