The newly appointed commissioner of Yei River County says he will prioritize service delivery, peace and security in the area.
Addressing residents in Yei Town, Justine Lokonga said his administration together with other development partners to meet the needs of the population.
“The expectation of the people on service delivery is very high; we will work hard to ensure that we meet their needs on services. As I take up the seat of the commissionership for Yei River County, I will ensure that there is need for stable security and protection to our people so that service delivery and citizens can do their businesses without fear,” he said.
Lokonga added that his county administration will work with all community stakeholders, religious leaders, women, youth and other categories of people to ensure peace and stability returns to Yei.
“We will together work to promote peace, reconciliation so as to promote peaceful co-existence,” he said.
Yei River County is state capital for Yei River State and its located 100 miles South West of Juba city.
