The Commissioner of Raja County in Western Bahr el Ghazal of South Sudan says he expects vehicle loaded with goods to arrive in his county from Sudan soon.
Raja County is located in northwest South Sudan bordering South Darfur.
Commissioner Hassan Jalab told Radio Tamazuj, “We have a lot of challenges for the last months due to rain and floods but now all the roads are opened and within some days, we are expecting some vehicles to arrive from Wau and from Sudan too.”
The impassability of roads in Raja County has increased the prices of goods and resulted in some goods running out of stock at markets.
According to Jalab, most of the consumable goods will start dropping in price when the new imports arrive via Darfur.
