The Sudanese Armed forces bombed the Blue Nile state forcing citizens to flee. A local source told Radio Tamazuj 22 sheep and cows were killed during the attack on Kumagenza, Yabus and Mawgaf.

Babiker Ibrahim Abbas, from Yabus, told Radio Tamazuj that especially children and the elderly are hard-hit by the deteriorating humanitarian situation.
