Relief aircraft that were unable to fly today from Juba owing to the planned arrival of SPLM-IO Chairman Riek Machar to Juba will resume flights tomorrow after Machar failed to show up two days in a row.

In a notice sent to users, UNHAS said that all flights will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, promising to issue tickets and manifests shortly.

All UNHAS flights had been canceled for today.

However, the humanitarian air service also advised users that delays may still be experienced from tomorrow “due to continued limited movement at the Juba International Airport.”
