Human rights expert warns of difficult conditions for Talodi displaced

The director of Justice Africa has warned of citizens displaced from Talodi living in open areas, a short distance from where fighting is taking place. ‘There is panic and fear amongst people forced out of their homes seeking shelter in Kalogi and Leri in South Kordofan especially as the fighting is only a few kilometres away’, said Hafiz Ismail to Radio Tamazuj. Ismail said the displaced citizens have no access to shelter, food or water and called for an immediate ceasefire to allow humanitarian organisations to deliver aid.
