A fire broke out in a house in the Western Bahr El Ghazal capital on Monday killing three children and wounding their mother who is in the late stage of pregnancy and is now receiving medical treatment in Wau Teaching Hospital.
The house in Wau caught fire and neighbors were unable to put it out, Radio Tamazuj reported from the scene. The fire resulted in the death of the three children and the severe injury of their mother. The reason behind the fire is still unknown.
