Citizens in Sudan’s Blue Nile state said that prices of consumer goods and vegetables are rising at Damazin market.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, several local residents complained about soaring prices of commodities and crops these days.
“One bag of maize is now sold at 1,200 SDG; one bag of sorghum has reached 1,000 SDG while a carton of tomatoes costs 400 SDG,” said one of local residents.
Citizens also complained about soaring prices of fuel in the town of Damazin.
