Commissioner of Twic East county Dau Akuei Jurkuch told Radio Tamazuj a group of cattle raiders attacked a cattle camp in one of the villages killing one pastoralist and raided 47 cattle.

“Cattle raiders coming from Pibor attacked a cattle camp in the area. A pastoralist was killed and they raided all the 90 cattle at the camp,” said Jurkuch.

He said the authorities did not manage to follow the attackers.

The commissioner accused a group of cattle raiders from Pibor area of being behind the attack.
