Heavy downpour leaves Khartoum flooded

Sudan’s capital Khartoum is flooded after heavy rains pounded the state with public transport and residents experiencig massive difficulties this morning.

Sudan’s capital Khartoum is flooded after heavy rains pounded the state with public transport and residents experiencig massive difficulties this morning.

Some roads in the city are impassable due to the floods.

The torrential rainfall descended on the capital this morning, leaving many areas flooded. Photos taken by Radio Tamazuj show sections of the city flooded with the downpour running.

Several local residents called on the relevant authorities to bring trucks to suck up the water.
