Armed men driving in a vehicle at around 7:00 am shot one person in Nyokuron residential area of Juba, according to local residents.

 The witness said he saw a taxi moving early in the morning when he heard the gunshot coming from the taxi injuring one person.

“People were already preparing to come out, others are already even out to go for their work – the man who was shot was passing here when he was shot,” another resident said 

The victim who appeared to be a Ugandan national was taken to the hospital for treatment. The gunmen are still at large.
