Gunmen stopped a vehicle of a national NGO travelling from Mundri to Lui area in South Sudan’s Amadi State on Friday afternoon, an aid worker said.
The aid worker told Radio Tamazuj on Monday that the gunmen stopped the vehicle and stole a sack of sugar from humanitarian workers. He further said the vehicle belongs to Afro-Canadian Evangelical Mission (ACEM). He added that the aid workers were travelling to Lui to take some T-shirts and food items for their project site there.
None of the aid workers was hurt.
