An SPLA officer was shot and killed by unknown gunmen in Juba on Monday morning, several eyewitnesses said.

The eyewitnesses told Radio Tamazuj today that the incident occurred when a group of unknown gunmen broke into the house of the SPLA officer at Khor Williang residential area and asked him to come out to meet them.

They explained that the gunmen shot the SPLA officer dead and managed to escape.
