Unknown gunmen shot and killed one person in Kongor County of Jonglei State on Wednesday last week, a local official said.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, County Commissioner Garang Bul Pageer said the incident happened when an unidentified armed group shot and instantly killed a man identified as Bul Ajang Bul.
He claimed the armed men came from neighboring Boma State.
Radio Tamazuj could not immediately reach Boma State authorities.
