At least five people were killed in an attack by gunmen in Assalaia of al-Rudum in Sudan’s South Kordofan state.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday, al Hadi Omer a citizen from the area said around 40 gunmen attacked Assalaia area Tuesday evening, looting more than 500 cattle but they have been recovered.
He added that local authorities took the bodies Wednesday morning and did not manage to arrest the perpetrators.
