A humanitarian vehicle was attacked by gunmen wearing military uniforms near Mayom town in Northern Liech State on Tuesday, a local official said.

Gordon Malou, the state security advisor, told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that the vehicle came under attack after it had delivered aid assistance to Sudanese refugees in Yida camp.

He pointed out that no casualties were reported. The state security adviser accused forces loyal to rebel leader Riek Machar of being behind the attack.

Radio Tamazuj could reach opposition officials in the area to comment on the matter.
