The deputy governor of Boma state in South Sudan said that a group of armed youth attacked civilians at Kotchar on the border between Jonglei and Boma states.
Mama Rachael Anok told Radio Tamazuj on Sunday that they received the report but could not ascertain the details of the attack.
“Youth from Dinka came and attacked our community at Kotchar which lies on the border with Jonglei state. But until now there are no details about the incident. The state doesn’t have enough vehicles to move and access the place,” she said.
