The state police spokesperson, Majak Daniel Tuor, told Radio Tamazuj that the boys were playing in a house in Bor’s Langbar area when the incident occurred.

“The incident occurred on Saturday at 11 am killing two children instantly and injuring four others. As the police, we rushed to the scene and took the injured to the hospital,” he said.

The police spokesperson pointed out that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

“Those children were playing in one of the huts when the incident occurred, according to the neighbors. Whether there was an argument or what exactly triggered the blast and who owned the grenade is what we are investigating,” Major Majak said.

He added that the incident was unfortunate and advised the residents of Bor to take precautionary measures.
