The governor of Tambura State is on an official visit to Wau State to discuss plans to open the main road linking the two states.

Governor Patrick Raphael Zamoi told Radio Tamazuj on Sunday that his visit aim at strengthening ties with Wau State governor Angelo Taban Biajo and that they will discuss the opening of the road between Wau and Tambura states.

Zamoi further said they have received a lot of pressure from the local populations in the two states to facilitate the opening of the road.

The main road linking the two states has been inaccessible since the conflict erupted across the country.
