The governors of Tonj, Twic, Gogrial and Northern Liech states are planning to meet in the coming weeks to discuss security issues along their common borders.
The states have been experiencing increased insecurity characterised by cross border killings and raids.
Northern Liech State minister of information Lam Tungwar told Radio Tamazuj on Monday that the governors will be meeting soon to discuss border issues related to security, looting and killings.
Tungwar said the governor of Northern Liech State Joseph Monytuil will be visiting his counterparts in Tonj, Twic and Gogrial states this week for consultations aimed at reconciling the neighbouring communities and reducing insecurity.
