Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony on Friday donated 35 million South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) to finance developmental projects in Kajo-keji County, a local official said.
This came after a two-day consultative workshop on the status of education in the state.
Representing the state governor, Deric Derickson, the press secretary in the office of the governor, said Governor Emmanuel Adil has committed a sum of 35 million South Sudanese pounds to finance developmental projects in Kajo-Keji County.
‘’His Excellency Emmanuel Adil Anthony, the Governor of Central Equatoria State, has committed 35 million South Sudanese pounds to finance developmental projects in Kajo-Keji. This came after the governor met with the six commissioners of the counties,” Derickson said.
Meanwhile, Phanuel Dumo, the commissioner of Kajo-Keji County, confirmed that the governor had pledged to finance the rehabilitation of the county headquarters, rehabilitation of the road projects and rehabilitation of the Kajo-Keji Secondary School.
Kajo-Keji County has been affected by the conflict since 2016.
