Gok Governor urges Christians to pray for peace and unity

Madhang Majok Meen,  Governor of Gok State in South Sudan has  urged  Christians during prayers at Malou Pec  County  on Sunday to pray for peace and unity of the citizens

Madhang Majok Meen,  Governor of Gok State in South Sudan has  urged  Christians during prayers at Malou Pec  County  on Sunday to pray for peace and unity of the citizens of the area.   Governor Madhang spoke at the Episcopal Church in Malou Pec during which told congregation to disseminate the message of peace and forgiveness to local communities at the grass root levels so they are aware of the peace processes in the state.

He appealed to youths to refrain from cattle theft and do something good for their future. The Commissioner of Malou Pec County Enoch Macuoc Mayol told Radio Tamazuj that his government is ready to cooperate with the church leaders on the basis of disseminating peace in the state.  He said his message to the community of the area was to make good relations with Tonj state in order to promote unity of the two sisterly states. The Church prayer was attended by over two thousand Christians.
