The commissioner of police in South Sudan’s Gogrial state Gen. John Akot Maluth last week announced a new recruitment of candidates who want to attend police training centres.

In an announcement broadcast on the local media, Gen. Akot said that those who can read and write, decides those who cannot read and write will be registered and selected for the police service.

The top police officer called on the applicants to summit their identification cards and academic qualifications.

He pointed out that the new recruits will be deployed to all counties across the state after attending police trainings in order to solve complaints about shortages of police personnel in the state.
