The governor of Gogrial state has issued a gubernatorial order removing the head of the state liaison office in Juba.

Governor Victor Atem Atem, according to the order released to the public on Thursday, removed Joseph Akol Wek Nyinkuany from his position as the chief coordinator for the state and replaced with Simon Machuar Manhkharacnaak as the new coordinator.

James Akol Ayual was named the deputy chief coordinator. The new deputy replaced Tong Alfonsio Deng Akol, who was the deputy to Joseph Akol. No reasons for changes were mentioned in the order.  The officials who have been removed from the assignments were appointed by the former governor.
