The governor of Gogrial state, Gregory Deng Kuac, on Wednesday issued a gubernatorial order, relieving two county commissioners and naming their replacements.
Gregory, in his gubernatorial order, removed Aliet Gor Adim from her position as Aguok South County Commissioner and appointed Mou Madut as the new commissioner.
The governor also removed Manut Ngot from his position as commissioner of Apuk South County and replaced him with Yel Ghom. The orders did not cite any reason for changes.
But several legislators and local officials from the two counties attributed the reasons to the recent inter-clan fighting in which several lives and properties were lost when clashes erupted between the Aguok and Apuk communities.
