Gogrial governor relieves 4 ministers, 3 county commissioners

The governor of South Sudan’s Gogrial state on Friday issued several state decrees dismissing and replacing four members of his cabinet and three county commissioners.

The governor of South Sudan’s Gogrial state on Friday issued several state decrees dismissing and replacing four members of his cabinet and three county commissioners.

Governor Victor Atem Atem fired the state minister of local government Majok Ajok Majok and replaced him with William Kuot Ater Ayook. Information minister Amet Amet Kuol was relieved and replaced with Edward Yieryier.

Mark Garang Bol Akoon appointed new education minister replacing Angelo Ater Ater, while Amiir Amet is the new minister of social development replacing Mark Garang Bol.

In another decree, governor Atem appointed Capt. Akeen Deng Aleu as Malualmonyjooc county commissioner replacing Ayok Chol Ayok and Valentino Akuei Manyuat appointed Kuac West county commissioner replacing Gabriel Akec Akec Bol.

Mawien Majok Ngor replaced Akol Ngong Ayok as Maluil Ajak county commissioner .

The gubernatorial decrees did not mention any reasons for the changes.
