A female university student has died after a bomb blast at Umjak village of Al-Odeiya locality in Sudan’s West Kordofan State on Friday, according to police authorities.

The commissioner of Al-Odeiya police said in a statement that the attack was carried out by unknown people, adding that those who were targeted by the attackers were not at the house during the attack.

He pointed out that the female student of Al-Salam University who died in the attack is innocent. The police commissioner noted that a joint security force is pursuing the perpetrators.
