FVP’s office condemns attacks in Jonglei state

The office of the country’s First Vice President Taban Deng Gai has condemned the recent attack and abduction of five people in Duk Payuel County in Jonglei State.

The office of the country’s First Vice President Taban Deng Gai has condemned the recent attack and abduction of five people in Duk Payuel County in Jonglei State.

“We condemn in the strongest terms possible the recent attacks on the Juba- Bor road where innocent civilians were killed and some abduction which happened this week in Duk County,” Taban Deng’s spokesman Choul Laam told Radio Tamazuj said.

Choul urged the two governments of Boma and Jonglei to respect the cessation of hostilities signed in Juba. He urged the two states to talk to their citizens in order to stop any attacks.
