A top government official in Northern Upper Nile State said lack of fuel might cause failure of the agricultural season in the state.
Northern Upper Nile’s minister of information Dhieu Chan Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that the area lacks fuel supplies, adding that this would affect the agricultural season and might lead to failure of the harvest if the situation continues as such.
He added that this year’s cultivation f sesame crop was supposed to be this month, saying the state government is working with Nilepet Company to provide fuel in the state.
