Yambio town in South Sudan’s Western Equatoria ran short of fuel, leaving hundreds of vehicles off the roads.
Boda-boda rider Jackson John from Nzara County expressed disappointment over the fuel shortage, lamenting that it is hindering private and public activities in the state.
Anisa Radio quoted Akorogbodi area resident Joseph Jeresam as blaming the state and national governments for not making infrastructure development a priority.
He urged the government to fix impassable roads, saying bad roads is the cause of fuel shortage.
Anisa Radio could not reach State Physical Infrastructure and Trade and Investment ministries for comment.
