Fuel shortage has disrupted transport in Sudan’s capital Khartoum, with drivers queuing for long hours at petrol stations owing to a lack of fuel.

A driver, who preferred anonymity, told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that he has spent several hours to get fuel.

He pointed out that the lack of fuel forced many commuters to walk in order to carry out their daily routine.

Sudanese government officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
