Fuel scarcity hits Aweil State

Motorcyclists commonly known as boda-boda riders operating in Aweil State say they cannot continue operating due to high costs of fuel in the black market.

Thiep Thiep, a boda-boda rider in Aweil, told Radio Tamazuj today that fuel is too expensive forcing them to increase their costs yet citizens are not able to afford their services.

He called on the state government to intervene and avail subsidized fuel for the riders who make a living out using their motorcycles.
