Fresh clashes between SPLA-N and Sudanese army in Blue Nile

The Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North (SPLA-N) launched two separate attacks on Sudanese army positions in Blue Nile state Sunday, according to a source.

The Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North (SPLA-N) launched two separate attacks on Sudanese army positions in Blue Nile state Sunday, according to a source.

An eyewitness told Radio Tamazuj Monday that the SPLA-N clashed with government forces at Khor Fatah Einak village in Kurmuk locality and at Salbel and Derang areas in Bau.

The attack on Khor Fatah Einak area occurred at 10:00 p.m., according to the same source.

Several wounded SAF soldiers were seen admitted at military and Chinese hospitals in Damazin. Several civilians were also wounded in the clashes.

Radio Tamazuj could not reach the opposition and government forces in those areas to comment on the matter.
