The South Sudanese police in Juba have announced that they arrested four men suspected in connection with the killing a British aid worker on Tuesday in the capital Juba.
Police spokesman Col. James Monday Enoka said in a press statement that a committee headed by Brigadier Deng had been formed in order to investigate the crime. He further said investigations are underway to know the perpetrators so that they are taken to court.
On 17 February, a British national was reportedly killed by a gunman who followed him into his compound in the capital Juba and then fled.
Britain’s Foreign Office has also confirmed that a British national was killed, as has the US-based organization Carter Center, which said he was working for them as a security consultant.
