Police authorities in Abyei area have arrested four men on Monday for allegedly stealing money from a restaurant.

The Director of police in Agok area Deng Kuol told Abyei Today Programme that four suspects had been arrested over alleged stealing of money and one phone.

Kuol further said the suspects confessed that they stole the phone, but denied the theft of money. The police officer pointed out that investigations are underway.

For his part Ngor Pieng, the owner of the restaurant, said told the Radio that t the arrested men stole 2,000 SSP and a phone.
