Four Sudanese traders have been killed in northern Unity State since the beginning of this month, according to the head of the state chamber of commerce.

Police have been unable to trace the perpetrators. The four victims were identified as Ibrahim Abdel Karim, Suleiman Abdel Karim, Al Nazir Abdu and Nimeiri Hamid.

Chamber of Commerce Director James Kom told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the latest incident took place on the road connecting Abiemnhom County to the west.

The state official explained that the traders were killed in separate incidents, the first on 2 November and the second on 8 November.
