Police in Sudan’s West Kordofan State on Saturday announced the arrest of four suspects in the killing of al-Nazir Othman, a leader of one of one of the armed movements that signed a peace deal with the Sudanese government, according to a source from Babanusa town.
al-Nazir was killed in al Daliam village on 27 August, when he was stabbed by a member of the Misseryia al Zayud clan because of a conflict they had in the past.
Meanwhile, the state security committee has called on the local administration in Babanusa to intervene to solve the issue between the two rival clans.
