The country commissioner of Gogrial East in Warrap State estimates that 15,900 people have been displaced by the flooding in the county amid worsening conditions.

In an interview with Radio Tamazuj, Commissioner Wol Anei Anei said approximately 15,900 people have been affected by the flooding that hit the area, saying the flood-stricken people are living crowded together on high ground without shelter, food or essential services.  

Wol noted some humanitarian organizations have been able to provide 50 tents and medicines to suffering people but these donations were inadequate. He called for more help from the organizations.
