Floods destroy 700 houses in Eastern Lakes State

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Sunday, Malek said heavy rains and floods also destroyed all agricultural fields. “Heavy floods have destroyed 700 houses in 7 villages across the state, it also destroyed all the farmlands” said Malek.

The legislator called on the state government and humanitarian organizations to intervene and save lives of nearly 700 families affected by the floods. He added that many families are currency facing acute shortages of food and healthcare services.
